Unser neues, schraubenloses Icy Dock-Interngehäuse bietet Ihnen eine LCD-Anzeige, die Sie stets in Echtzeit über Zustand und Temperatur des Laufwerks auf dem Laufenden hält. Mit den Tasten an der Vorderseite geben Sie eine Temperatur vor, ab der eine Warnung signalisiert werden soll. Wird diese Temperatur überschritten, weist Sie ein visueller und akustischer Alarm auf das Problem hin. Allerdings sollten wir nicht vergessen, dass dieses Gehäuse zur neuen, einschublosen Gehäusefamilie zählt, die einen besonders einfachen Laufwerkzugriff und Hot-Swap-Fähigkeiten bietet, ohne dass Sie einen Einschub einschrauben müssen. Das Gehäuse bietet genügend Platz für jede 3,5" (8,9cm) SATA-Markenfestplatte und ist so robust, dass sich weder Festplatte noch Verbindungsstecker lockern können. Wie beim MB671 erwarten Sie eine attraktive Frontblende und ein eleganter Öffnungshebel. Das Gehäuse sorgt durch Stahlelemente für eine perfekte Kühlung Ihrer Festplatte. Auch unsere bekannten ICY DOCK-Merkmale sind nicht unter den Tisch gefallen: Ein integrierter Lüfter beugt in Kombination mit einem Entlüftungssystem der Überhitzung Ihrer Festplatte vor, ein Schloss ernüchtert potenzielle Festplattendiebe. Das Gehäuse lässt sich ganz einfach entnehmen und kann so mit Desktop- oder Notebook-Computern gleichermaßen genutzt werden. Optimal für Archivierungszwecke bei Medienspeichersystemen: Flexibler und portabler Medienzugriff ohne komplizierten Ausbau der Frontblende.

"The MB672SKGF Screwless Internal 3.5” SAS/SATA HDD Enclosure from Icy Dock is a great addition to any home build server for users interested in paying special attention to a particular drive. At around $50, it adds significantly to the price of a hard drive, but those of use building home servers are already convinced that spending a little extra to monitor and secure data is worth it.
