Die EZConvert MB882-Serie von ICY DOCK kann die meisten 2,5"-SATA SSDs und Festplatten in ein 3,5" SATA Laufwerk umwandeln. Sie verfügt über genügend Lüftungsöffnungen, um das 2,5" Laufwerk kühl zu halten und kann dieses somit schützen. Für die Installation eines 2,5"-Laufwerks sind weder Schrauben noch Werkzeug erforderlich. Egal, ob Sie eine SATA SSD oder Festplatte verwenden, die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit bleibt bei Verwendung dieses Konverters unverändert. Mit diesem Konverter wird der Einbau eines 2,5" Laufwerks in einen Desktop einfach, ohne dass Sie spezielle Anbauteile oder Systeme kaufen müssen, was mehr Komfort bei der Wiederherstellung von Daten von Laptops oder beim Hochfahren des Betriebssystems auf einem Desktop ermöglicht. "The way the Icy Dock HDD Convertor works is rather slick, you set the drive on the rail, then you close the lid, closing the lid pushes the drive forward into the SATA connections on the PCB board inside and effectively locks it into place.The Icy Dock 2.5″ to 3.5″ Hard Drive Converter is a great little product that can be very useful, it’s well made and really it’s just a great little product. Hinweis: SAS Festplatten oder SSDs nutzen Pin 3 des SATA-Stromanschlusses nicht für das PWDIS Feature und sind daher kompatibel zu diesem Produkt.
Obwohl wir empfehlen die SATA HDD/SSD mit PWDIS nicht zu verwenden, können Sie die nachfolgenden Methoden nutzen um das PWDIS Feature physisch zu blockieren, falls Sie bereits ein solches Laufwerk verwenden:
Methode 1 – Einen Molex zu SATA Adapter oder ein entsprechendes Kabel verwenden um die Stromzufuhr zu Pin 3 des SATA Stromanschlusses zu unterbinden.
